Village Village is looking at creating in-country fundraising to support urgent projects that need help in Ghana. We plan to call on our friends in Ghana’s ex pat community. The advantages of this are:
1. We are only 1.45 hours out of the capital Accra – So potential funders can actually see the project they will be supporting.
2. We have tangible outcomes from the project we create – so potential funders can actually see their money being spent
3. We know many trailing spouses in the expat world have time on their hands and I’m looking for a worthwhile meaningful project
4. The ex pat community have access to money and contacts we alone can not reach.
