This week the newspapers have been full of charity wrong doing and mismanagement and we want to put the record straight: We do not “offer aid for sex” We do not get any money from Government We are not a big multi million pound organisation We are a tiny organisation because it makes us more effective and agile. We live and breathe our values. Our staff take 50-70% pay cuts to work for Village by Village. We work very hard from spare bedrooms, remote villages in poverty, we sleep on friends sofa’s or in their spare rooms rather than pay for a hotel.
